Newport Media is headed by Peter Newport - an experienced journalist, TV producer and manager. Peter has worked in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the US at senior levels within major media organisations including TVNZ, TV3, Otago Daily Times, Radio New Zealand, Channels 9 and 10 Australia, BBC, ITV and the Discovery Channel.
Peter is Founder and Managing Editor of the Crux Media Trust - the owners of Crux.

Past Projects
Peter has worked on a variety of domestic and international projects including major news events and documentary productions. Peter was Channel 9 Australia's Europe Correspondent and London Bureau Chief before holding senior news and management positions with both the BBC and ITV.
Recently Peter has worked on long form documentaries as well as working as a producer for TV3 New Zealand's prime time current affairs show Third Degree/3D. Peter is also a contributing writer for North and South magazine and worked as RNZ News' Queenstown regional reporter covering Otago/Southland.
